The News, Explained

Xbox announced the limited-time Horizon Meets update for Forza Horizon 6 on October 8, 2026. Its centerpiece is a 7-Eleven-inspired store and themed Car Meet in the game’s Nangan region. Players can park with friends and download liveries and tuning setups displayed by other players. Source

The update also adds creator and avatar items. A Konbini Prop Pack supplies 7-Eleven-themed objects for Estates, Garages and custom EventLab tracks, while a clerk uniform is available for avatars. During Autumn, smashing 20 egg salad sandwich collectibles near the Car Meet earns Festival Playlist progress and a Forza LINK reward. Source

The in-game content and the physical-store promotion have different availability. Xbox says the retail offer runs through October 27 at participating 7-Eleven stores in the United States and Canada. Buying an Xbox Gift Card with 7Rewards provides an in-game Toyota Supra GR livery and a free Slurpee. The announcement does not extend that store offer to other markets. Source

A separate apparel and accessories collection went on sale through 7Collection.com on October 8. The Horizon Meets update is available to download, and its Festival Playlist and Evolving World content began rolling out that day. Xbox describes the in-game 7-Eleven space as limited-time but gives no end date for it in this announcement. Source

OYOPICK’s Take

OYOPICK thinks a branded collaboration should be judged by what players can create and share, rather than by the amount of branding on screen. This Car Meet helps people discover other players’ liveries and tunes, while the Prop Pack gives creators material for their own spaces and tracks. Our interpretation is that these verified features give a commercial space a possible social and creative purpose.

Limited-time content also raises a practical question: what happens to creations and rewards after the event ends? Provided Xbox clearly explains the end date and what remains available, we hope collaborations like this grow into lasting support for player gatherings and making things together. That is a conditional editorial hope, not a confirmed Xbox plan.
