The News, Explained
On November 6, 2026, Meta announced Spaces for Muse, its personal AI assistant. Describe what you need and Muse builds a screen you can return to inside the app. For example, you could create a trip planner and ask Muse to add a section for reservations or rearrange its layout. Once the screen is built, you can check off items or leave notes in it. Source
A space can sit in the sidebar or the main tabs. You can hide it or schedule when it appears. For example, you could put a work planner up front on weekdays and switch to personal plans on the weekend. That schedule controls which screen appears when. It does not set the time at which a connected app supplies new information. Source
Connecting an outside app is a separate choice. Meta says that with relevant apps connected, changes such as concert dates or prices can appear in a space without another request. The announcement gives no refresh interval for individual apps. The Muse Privacy Policy says a connection exchanges information with the service and that Muse identifies connections that send updates on their own before you connect them. Disconnecting stops future exchanges, but information already used may remain in Muse’s memories or chat history. Source Source
Meta says Spaces are available where Muse is already offered. The announcement does not give a new launch date for Korea. Sharing a space with other people is still being explored. Source
OYOPICK’s Take
If you keep hunting through a chat for the same trip plans, a single screen for reservations and notes could help on its own. A connection adds value when you need to track outside changes, but an unknown refresh interval makes it hard to tell whether the screen is current. A last-updated time beside each item would help readers decide when the space is enough and when to go back to the original app for something like a flight. Source Source
