Xbox Wire published its October 5–9 release list on October 2, 2026, covering Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC and Game Pass. Release dates may change. Games launching on the same day carry different Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere labels, so those markers need to be checked separately. Source
Compare the October 6 releases
Gears of War: E-Day is listed for October 6 with both Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere. Star Wars: Galactic Racer is due the same day, but the Xbox Wire entry does not show either label. Players planning to use a subscription should verify the current store listing instead of assuming the two releases have matching access conditions. Source
Kingdom Hearts Collection I–III also arrives October 6 and carries the Xbox Play Anywhere label. Its contents are HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III with Re Mind. Compare that included content as well as the collection name when deciding whether it matches an existing library. Source
Check October 8–9 and the local store
Echo Weaver is listed for October 8 with both Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere. Other October 8 entries include Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, Neon Abyss 2, Deck of Haunts and Forever Ago. October 9 includes Cozy Meowmory, HORSE CLUB Ride West, PAPERHEAD and Sesame Street: Friends & Fun. Xbox Wire marks Play Anywhere separately for individual games. Source
Prices such as $69.99, $59.99 and $74.99 are displayed through the linked US storefront. Actual prices, discounts, launch times and supported devices in other regions can differ by account region and store listing. Xbox Wire also says release dates are subject to change, so check the local store immediately before buying or installing. Source
