Gen 3 has a customizable action button, a 12 MP camera and 3K video capture. Meta reports up to nine hours of battery life. For a comparison, check the conditions for the capture and calling functions you intend to use. An LED helps alert nearby people to photo or video capture. This is an India sales announcement, with no Korean launch date. Source
Our editorial buying criterion is to start with what the current model provides. Hands-free capture and audio-focused use point to different priorities. The announcement does not provide a firm Audio launch date or price, or an exact Muse availability date, to base a purchase on.
Meta plans for Muse to act on objects a wearer sees. Current Gen 3 sales and planned Muse access have different availability timing. If that capability is central to your decision, check the actual availability notice before relying on it. Source
