Spotify expanded Music Quiz on October 6, 2026. The rollout begins in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Nigeria, South Africa, and Indonesia, with quizzes covering more than 2,000 artists. Source

Who is eligible at launch

The launch is for Spotify Premium subscribers aged 18 or older. South Korea is not among the 11 countries listed in this expansion announcement. Source

Quizzes are in English at launch and are available only for selected artists. Spotify says the feature is rolling out gradually, so an eligible listener may not see it for every artist or immediately on every account. The company plans to add more artists, languages, and markets. Source

How to start from Now Playing

Update Spotify to the latest app version, play a track by a participating artist, and scroll down in the Now Playing view to find the Music Quiz card. Now Playing is the screen that shows the current track’s artwork and playback controls. Tap the card to answer questions about the artist and their music. Source

Question formats include music trivia, album-cover reveals, and identifying a song from an audio preview. After finishing, listeners can see their score and share the result with friends. Source
