The News, Explained

Xbox Wire published a roundup on October 13, 2026 covering eight Raw Fury games that are available or planned for Xbox and PC. The most immediate release is Deep Dish Dungeon, available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Game Pass. It can be played alone or with up to two friends and centers on navigating dungeons without a map or quest markers while gathering ingredients and cooking. Source

The announced conditions compare as follows. Month-only and year-only windows are preserved as Xbox stated them, and the post does not provide separate prices. Source

The Séance of Blake Manor, scheduled for October 27, is a mystery investigation set in a 19th-century Irish manor. Cassette Beasts 2002 is planned for March 2027 and promises more than 250 creatures plus a system for combining any two. Kingdom III: Rising Realms has a broader 2027 window, while Kingdom Two Crowns: Pharaoh Lands is planned for December 2026. The base Kingdom Two Crowns game is currently on Game Pass, but that statement does not establish that the new expansion is included. Source

My Cannibal Family is a theme-park management game for up to four players and is targeting 2027. Rivage, a strategy game about building a magic school and experimenting with spells, is available now on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The moving-city defense game Monsters Are Coming! Rock & Road is also available on those platforms and through Game Pass, with Xbox Play Anywhere support. Its free Pumpkin Panic update has been available since October 6. Source

Although the post groups the games together, their release conditions are not equally settled. Some have a specific date, while others provide only a month or year. The announcement does not supply prices, preorder details, regional differences, or future Game Pass status for games where the service is not mentioned. Source

OYOPICK’s Take

The most useful distinction in this roundup is not the number of games but the confidence of each schedule. A title dated October 27 and one carrying only a 2027 window should not both be treated as equally imminent. Separating timing, platform and Game Pass status helps readers plan without turning a broad target into a firm promise.

An absent Game Pass label means the roundup does not provide that information; it is not confirmation that a game will never join. Conversely, a base game being in Game Pass does not guarantee that an expansion will be included. Xbox and Raw Fury can lower decision costs by updating each game page with price, exact date, subscription scope and save compatibility as launch approaches.

A lineup that brings varied independent games to console and PC, with some available through a subscription on day one, can give more people room to try unfamiliar genres. That opportunity depends on broad release windows becoming concrete and on conditions such as co-op limits and cross-device progression being documented clearly.
