The News, Explained
On November 6, 2026, publisher tinyBuild said on PlayStation Blog that Hozy, a home restoration game, would come to PS5 on November 9. When checked, the Korean and US PlayStation Store pages both still listed the release date as undetermined and offered a wishlist button. The blog’s date does not establish a purchase time in either region. Both stores list one player, offline play, and Remote Play support. Source Source Source
The PS5 difference tinyBuild emphasizes is how the tools feel in your hands. The DualSense controller changes its vibration as you mop or move furniture. When you pry up a floorboard, the trigger pushes back against your finger to convey the board’s resistance. Some tool sounds also come through the controller speaker. The publisher lists settings for tool movement speed, camera inversion, and color display. Source
The main loop is to clean and repair a room, then furnish it from the selection provided for that room. There is no timer or score. After the nine story levels, Game+ lets you revisit rooms with different furniture and switch between day and night. Sandbox lets you combine items from the full catalog. Steam lists a March 30, 2026 PC release and already lists both modes; neither mode is making its debut on PS5. Source Source
OYOPICK’s Take
If cleaning and repairing are the fun part for you, the controller is the PS5 difference to pay attention to. If you like tactile feedback, feeling the tools change as you work could give you a reason to choose that version, even when you’re restoring the same room. If arranging furniture at your own pace matters more, Sandbox is a more direct fit and is already listed on Steam. The announcement alone can’t tell you how strong or comfortable the feedback will feel. Source Source
