The News, Explained
On November 4, Adobe announced that its CX Enterprise Coworker is available in external AI services including ChatGPT and Claude. Marketing teams can ask questions about company data held in Adobe. They might ask which sign-up step lost the most people who reached the form after seeing an ad. Marketers call the path through those touchpoints a customer journey. Source Source
The organization needs Coworker enabled and each user needs access in Adobe. It also needs Adobe Experience Platform, which brings customer data together, plus at least one of Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, or Customer Journey Analytics. Users also need access to the AI service they want to use. Source
Both ChatGPT and Claude require approval from an administrator for that service. Once approved, ChatGPT users can install the plugin. In Claude, users connect Coworker and then sign in with their Adobe account. Plugins and connectors are features that link the chat service to another tool. Source
Coworker follows the data permissions of the individual’s Adobe account. The external chat integration returns read-only results. A team could ask it to analyze last week’s sign-up flow; changing who receives a campaign remains a separate task. Adobe also announced connectors that bring other business tools into Coworker. That connects tools in the other direction, whereas adding Coworker to the chat gives the chat access to Adobe insights. Source Source
Adobe says the connection is included in an existing Coworker license. Using it draws from the same AI credits as other Coworker features. Credits are the units Adobe uses to meter AI use. Source
OYOPICK’s Take
If a team can ask about a weak sign-up step in the middle of a meeting, it may spend less time jumping between reports. Start by comparing the answer with an existing report for the same dates and group of customers. The drop-off rate can differ depending on whether it is measured against all visitors or only those who opened the sign-up form. An answer that shows its dates and denominator gives the team a better basis for checking the number and deciding whether to change the campaign. Source
